NYFW Make-Up: Erin Wasson

Because i started this blog to do make-up, i figured it was only fair to do some of the same-up shown at New York Fashion Week along with the clothing collections. The first is Erin Wasson's Collection.

The make-up for this show was a classic tanned skin, smokey eyes and nude lip. Always a winner. And it goes perfectly with the clothes she designed.

My lame excuse of the look. I had to look up to the light to get my skin to look a little more tanned so sorry about the weird positioning, but i hope you get the idea.

To have a good collection, you have to have a good front row. The celebrities you have there should be inspired to wear your clothes and get everyone else dying to wear them.

i think Keri Hilson is without a doubt the prettiest woman in music at the minute!

NYFW Spring/Summer 2010: Charlotte Ronson

I've never really taken much notice to Charlotte Ronson's designs because i though she was just getting all of her fame from her second name. I was wrong. She's getting all of her fame because her clothes are really good. I think the really appealing thing to this collection are the colours. And everything has a kind of sports luxe feel to it, probably because of the headbands :)

this reminds me of the film 27 dresses, when the woman comes to work after she slept at the guys house, and she's wearing his shirt and part of her bridesmaid dress. LOVE IT!

NYFW Spring/Summer 2010: Jason Wu

As far as i know, Jason Wu is relatively new. But i've loved his designs since i first saw them. I think they have a fabulous Couture feel to them but they are part of the Ready To Wear Collection. They are perfect evening dresses and anyone who wears them should be honored. This season i loved the bright colours.

NYFW Spring/Summer 2010: Preen

Preen to me is always a fail safe classic. Full of really wearable pieces made from pretty fabrics and fabulous colours. This season, they did not disappoint.

So glad that statement shoulders are staying for another season.

NYFW Spring.Summer 2010: L.A.M.B.

This is probably my favourite collection so far, mainly because LAMB hasn't usually interested me all that much! But some of these pieces are made with fabrics that drape so well and i love them :) There's a good range of garments so the collection doesn't just seem like a repeat of the same clothes with minimal changes. Everything has a nice young feel to it and i remember Gwen Stefani saying she would only design something she would wear, and i could see her in all of these :)
