NYFW Spring/Summer 2010: BCBG Max Azria

I've always loved BCBG Max Azria because the designs have always had a very fresh young feel to them.

This collection, for me, defiantly gave off a lot of Rodarte and Balenciaga feels to it but at the same time being completely original. The contrast between the very body con pieces and the very loose free flowing pieces was amazing in the way the designer made them work together.

I think the pattern's on these dresses is what has made the collection stand out so much.

There were a lot of futuristic pieces wit amazing shape and structure to them.

I love the cute clutches the models are wearing because it gives the dresses a very kind of "perfect night out" dress feel :) And who can say no to a perfect going out dress?!?!

Top 5 Products: Face

I was asked as a request to do my top 5 products. I decided to extend this a little however so i could do my top 5 Face, Eyes, Lip's, Hair & Skin Care products and thn pick one from each category as my ultimate top 5 products. :) The first post i am going to do are my top 5 Face Products.

NYFW Spring/Summer 2010: Vena Cava

The focus this year for Vena Cava was really on wearable pieces for women. Nothing to over the top, nothing too edgy, but at the same time still being amazing and not boring. I think the collection had something for everyone:

Tribal Prints - not something I've ever really been into but i do love these dress.

A more rock & roll feel with a black dress and safety pins. They also carried body con over from previous seasons and i love the sleeves on the second dress.

Bright - I think this is probably something i would wear. I love it. I like the shape of the hem and neck lines.

My Favourite Piece from the whole collection - I love the cardigan and the shorts! I'm a bit of a sucker for high waisted hot pant shorts :) and the model's tan is amazing :)

NY Fashion Week

This week is New York Fashion week (it started on Thursday) and because i think fashion, for me, will always win over make-up i am going to do a quick rundown of some of the shows and let you know what i think :) You may disagree with my opinions or not really be into high fashion so I'll try and post some more make-up post's in between! I'm still taking requests for anything and getting through them slowly so feel free to leave idea's in a comment! The First NYFW report will be on Vena Cava, one of my favourite :D

My Wonderful Letter From Soap & Glory

a few weeks ago i was reading the box of my S&G Fab Pore face peel and it gave the companies address and said that fan mail was welcome. I am a HUGE fan of S&G and have been for about 3 years so i thought i might as well send them a little letter declaring my love for them and their products. I wasn't 100% sure if i would get a reply because i know big companies are very busy but on Tuesday i got one :)

they basically thanked me for my letter and said they would be happy to hear from me again with any positive or negative feedback. I also asked about an old product that i loved but they told me it had been discontinued. The bottom of their letter also said that S&G have their own facebook page so add them :)

I'm going to write a letter back now just to say thank you :)

NEW HAIR!

So on a complete impulse tonight i dyed my hair brown. I've always been blonde, but me and my sister were bored so we thought what the hell :)

NOTD

I dont really do NOTD's because when i paint my nails, its all scratched off within a few hours. Seriously its like an addiction and i hate it! But this is just to show you the colour :) i think im gonna buy some fake nails and paint them so i can show you my colours without wrecking my nails with all the scratching.

Boots 17 high gloss nail polish.

In all honest this nail polish probably has the best consistency i have ever tried! but i haven't really tried alot of expensive brands, so they could be better
