The Big Tesco Vitamin E Review!

So after weeks of testing i think I am finally ready to give my verdict on these super cheap Tescoproducts. Keep in mind that every one's skin is different so something that might not have worked for me maybe perfect for you :) I'm not going to go into massive depth, simply because idon't want to bore you all, but if you have an specific questions feel free to ask.

The Face Wash

Nothing really stood out to me about this product. It lathers up well and a little goes a long way, it removes make-up and makes your face feel clean, but it just doesn't have anything special about it.

The Facial Scrub

Probably my favourite. The scrubbing beads aren't very big so you don't really get that deep clean feeling, but it's great if you want to be able to use a scrub everyday and not feel like you're damaging your skin.

The Eye Make-up Remover

Nothing special. I think i prefer my Boots eye make-up remover gel because it has a really nice cooling effect, but this works just as well at actually removing product.

The Cleanser

If you are going to a festival this summer, i think this product would be great. It's like having a face wash but without having to mix it with water. I would recommend cleansing with this, then wiping a wet wipe over your face just so you get that damp clean feeling.

The Moisturiser

If your skin is in need of major moisture then this just isn't going to cut it, but if you just want something light and easy to use before your make-up, i think this is a great inexpensive choice.

The Toner

I didn't really notice this making any difference to my skin so i don't think it is something i would suggest picking up from the brand. It left my skin feeling quite dry, but it wasn't strong enough to make my eyes water which was nice.

The Cleansing Wipes

I love these :) They are soo inexpensive and i think they work really well for the price. Great just to have in your bag throughout the summer to keep your feeling fresh and clean in the heat. I tend to use them to wipe make-up off, and then use the Facial Scrub to clean a little deeper.

The Night Cream

Wasn't really what i was expecting. It is very thin compared to other night creams that i have tried, and i just don't think it really did anything for my skin.

Have you tried anything from this range? What did you think?

My Favourite Podcasts

I've decided to do a little non-make-up related post for you today. It is about something i thought may be nice to share with you all.

I really really like listening to podcast's. I think they are great during travelling, whilst doing revision or just when you don't feel like listening to music. These are my top 5 that i am subscribed to on iTunes (btw they are all free so you have no excuse to not check them out :)

Smart Mouths

It is very hard to describe Smart Mouths because it literally covers just about everything. It can be current news, funny things that have happened, political rants and plenty of jokes. I think out of my top 5, this may just be my number 1 favourite!

Grey's Anatomy Official Podcast
If you are a Grey's Anatomy fan then you may want to listen to this. The writers of every episode record a podcast after the episode is shown in America and give you an idea of why they wrote certain things into the episode, where they got their idea's from, funny things that happened on set etc. It really is good if you are a GA fan!

Scott Mills Daily
I'm usually on the bus when Scott Mills is on, and i dont have a Radio FM transmitter for my iPod so i get the podcast :) It just records the best bits from the previous days show so reduces a 3 hour radio show down to usually about 40 minutes.

Imprint
This podcast started the podcast obsession! It is a Twilight fan podcast which probably sounds really dorky but the presenters are really fun and find out all of the latest Twilight saga news. I spent the whole of last summer listening to this because i found it after they had done about 20 episodes, so had about 30 hours of material to listen to before i could be up to date.

Best of Chris Moyles Enhanced
I get this for the same reason as the Scott Mills one. It reduces the show down to about 40 minutes and lets me listen to it whenever i have time. Instead of being daily like Scott's this comes out every Friday and contains material from the past 5 shows.

What I Wore On - Wednesday 2nd June 2010

It was really hot, and i was at work in jeans all day so when my mum decided we were going to have a BBQ on the beach i decided i would change into some denim shorts and a nice loose top :)
Also, the weather is suppose to just keep getting better over the next week so i will hopefully get some more OOTD's done for you all :)

Whilst i was taking these pictures, look who decided to join me :) Brian!
And then, this is the only picture of my i took when we got to the beach :) With my lovely fake tanned legs :P

Top: ASOS
Shorts: Old Dorothy Perkins jeans that i cut
Shoes: Primark
Bracelet: Primark
Nail Polish: Essie's Van D'Go
Fake Tan: Rimmel Sun Shimmer

Woops ... I haul again :)

So the weather wasn't very nice here, so we took a family shopping trip :) I didn't really get much, but I'm very happy with what i did get!

First was:
  • Rimmel Sun Shimmer Self Tan Gel
  • BYS Nail Polish in Lila Bliss
  • BYS Khol Eyeliner Pencil in Soft White
Then I got a little organisation unit where I can store palettes (i'm thinking about starting a mac one soon) and two little dishes on the ends to store make-up. One at the minute contains my foundations because i prefer to store them up right, and the other has perfumes, but I'm thinking about changing them to things i use a lot like lip balms.

Then i got a storage box to hold my nail polishes because i didn't want them in my plastic draws any more.
I also got a jar that i'm storing my eye liners in at the minute. I think i want to maybe get a few more of these because i think they are cute :)

With all of my nail polishes being in here ...
all of my boxes are now in here :)

If the weather is ok, i'm going to some car boot sales, so fingers crossed i find something good :)

LoveFilm Movie Review - Notorious

Notorious

What I Thought: I really did like this film. I was too young to really know about the big east coast and west coast feud that went one at the time of B.I.G.'s fame, so this film was very new to me. There was a good balance of humour and drama which keeps you interested throughout.

Stand Out Character: Naturi Naughton who played Lil Kim

Favourite Scene: Probably the last scene, where actual footage from the day of B.I.G.'s funeral was used and all of his ans were out in the streets.

Star Rating: ********

Would I Watch Again: Yes, i would possibly even buy the DVD!

Have you seen this film? What did you think of it?

May Favourites

I think just about everyone in the UK has been taking advantage of the great weather this month, and my May Favourites represent that :)

St. Moriz Self Tanning Mousse Wearing Shorts, dresses and leggings means having to add a little colour to my legs, and this is the only thing i have been using recently

Avon SPF 50 Sun Cream I'm a little overprotective of my skin, especially in the summer so i like to wear SPF 50 under my make-up

Lush Tea Tree Water This is so great as a freshening spray on a hot day, I love it!

Topshop Cream Blush in Flush This is my first ever cream blush, and although it is a kind of cream to powder, i really like it, I cant wait to get some more :)

Mac MSF in Soft and Gentle I LOVE THIS! I kind of neglected it for a while, but this makes an amazing eye shadow! if you have it, try it on your eyes.

Benefit You Rebel Lite Tinted Moisturiser I love this when it's too hot to wear full foundation, but i can only really wear it on good skin days

Essie Nail Polish in Van D'Go I love this on my toes when I'm wearing sandals. LOVE IT!

Maybelline Wet Shine Gloss in Clearly Coral So glad to have this product back in my life!

W7 Metallic eye shadows in Golden Eye, Bronzed & Burnt Plum These are my new loves. Can't wait to get more :)
