As always, i have just used this picture of Rihanna as inspiration, so if my look doesn't look exactly like hers, you dont need to tell me! And remember you dont need to go out and buy what i have used to achieve this look, just improvise with what you have :)

Start by applying a cream shadow that matches, or comes close to, your skin tone - i used painterly paint pot

Now apply a line of blue eyeshadow (or blue liner if you have it) along the upper lash line, around the inner corner and to make a flick in the outer corner - i used the blue in the sleek sunset palette

This is what it looks like when your eye is closed

Now line the lower lash line and the bottom of the flick with a black liner - i used Mac's Penultimate liner
Next, you need to apply black liner to the waterline - I used Barry M Kohl pencil in black

Honeyz Haul

So if you follow me on Twitter you may know that i have been home alone for the past 3 days because my mum, dad and sister decided then wanted to spend a few days in Whitby. I however could not tear myself away from this blog and the lovely internet so i stayed home :) While they were there they found the cutest little shop called Honeyz which is family run bath products business, a lot like Lush, but on a much smaller scale. These are the things they brought back with them :)

A Pineapple Bath Bomb, This looks a lot like the Vanilla Fountain from Lush, but it's smaller and smells like Pineapple :)

Heart Shaped bath bomb - I cant quite decide what this smells like ... and because i wasn't there when it was bought i have no idea what it is :( but it's smells lovely :)

Mini Bath Bomb Cubes :) HOW CUTE?!?!

A Mango smelling bath bomb

"Ocean Breeze" Bath Bomb

Mini Bath Marbles (i think they are just like the mini cubes but circles instead)

Honey Soap - you have no idea how good this smells ... it better than Lush's Honey I Washed The Kids ... and i think its cheaper too LOVE IT!

Another heart shaped bath bomb
Not all of this stuff is mine, some is my sisters, but i'll try to either do a review myself for everything or get my sister to tell me what she thinks. I really do urge you to check out their website http://www.honeyzbathproducts.co.uk/ because it's always nice to help out independent businesses where you can right?! :) If you get anything please let me know because i want to hear all about it :)

Rihanna Week - Look Three

As always, i have just used this picture of Rihanna as inspiration, so if my look doesn't look exactly like hers, you don't need to tell me! And remember you don't need to go out and buy what i have used to achieve this look, just improvise with what you have :)

Begin by applying a black base to your eye lid. I have just used a black kohl eye liner, but if you have a mac paintpot, or any form of back cream eye shadow, that will work too & at the point it doesn't have to be too neat. Apply it up to the crease.

With an eye shadow brush blend the base together to form a smooth colour and add a wing to the side

Now take a blue eye shadow (preferable matte if you have it but i didn't so i had to use a shimmery one) and press it into the base, Once you've done that, blend it into the crease a little so you don't have a sharp line

Now add either gold eyeliner, or wet gold eyeshadow to your lower lash line

Then apply some mascara and you're all done :D

The Products I Used:
The Blue from the Sleek Palette
Avon Cream eyeliner in Gold
Barry M Black Kohl Liner
A Stiff Eye Shadow Brush
A fluffy Eye Shadow Brush
Maybelline Colossal Mascara

Boots 17 Eye Shadow Overview

You probably know by now that i LOVE these eye shadows, so i thought i would do a little overview of the 5 i own :)

(From L to R) Spirit (Glitter), Statuesque, Mardi Gras, Funfair, Chalise (Glitter)

The swatches on the left are applied wet & the ones on the right are applied dry
(From Top to Bottom) Statuesque, Mardi Gras, Funfair, Chalise, Spirit

I really cannot recommend these enough! remember, just get through the first powdery layer of shadow and they become much smoother and easier to work with :)
