Make-up hasn't really been grabbing my attention much recently, so instead my money has been spent on some fabulous nail polishes :)

Glo Baby Glo by Primark in blue, pink & green (the actual names of these are on the boxes and I threw those out) - £2.00 each (also, these glow in UV light which is amazing aa we have UV lights at the bar I work at so I can't wait to try them out there)

August Favourites

I'm sorry this is late but I started year 13 a few days ago and I'm just kind of getting back into school

Gosh Holographic Nail Polish My absolute new favourite :) I love it, and I get asked about it whenever I wear it. I really want to try and get more Gosh polishes, they are so lovely!

Rimmel Matte Finish Nail Polish This is so perfect for school. I'm not allowed to wear nail polish to school but by wearing a nude polish and then the matte top coat over the top makes it look really natural but still nice.

Mac Lipstick in Angel Angel is about as adventurous and bright as I go with lipstick. I've really liked wearing this over August just to brighten up my day.

Barry M Lipgloss in Coral Nowhere near as pigmented as some other Barry M glosses I have tried, but it smells lovely and is just really easy to wear either alone or over any lipstick.

Sleek Ink Pot in Dominatrix Why did I wait so long to try gel liners? I love this and can't wait to try out some other colours and brands! I never really bothered with eye liner because I found it too difficult to apply but this is so easy with an angled eyeliner brush.

Topshop Blush in Flush This is without a doubt, the best blush I own because the colour just suits my skin tone perfectly. There really isn't much more I can say about it.

Benefit You Rebel Tinted Moisturiser I've used this tinted moisturiser so much this summer and am really interested to look into some other brands ready for next summer.

CoverGirl Last Blast Waterproof I need some more of this soon, it's just perfect :)

Boots 17 Eyeshadow in Mardi Gras This is great to wear along the lower lash line and then to line the top with just a flick of mascara. Really effortless but brightening.

Max Factor Eyeshadow in Burnt Bark Please, please, please, please just promise me next time you are at a Max Factor counter you will at least swatch this shadow. It is without a doubt my most used eyeshadow! I love everything about it.

Tag - Don't believe the hype!

It seems like loads of people are doing this post so i thought i would give it a go :) As always, this is just my opinion and these products may work amazingly for you!

Sleek Palette in Sunset: Everyone raved at how amazing these palettes were so i think my expectations were maybe a little too high. With the lighter colours i think pigmentation is a little disappointing and all the colour seem to have lots of shimmery fallout :( This being said, i do still use this and would probably consider buying another, i just don't think they are as good as a lot of people make out.

Nars Orgasm: This is another disappointing product, but not necessarily a bad one. Just about everyone seems to own it and love it and i will admit it is a pretty blush. Bot does it deserve all the magazines calling it the no.1 blush?? no.

Benefit You Rebel Lite: I think for a lot of people they see this Tinted Moisturiser as the best on the market but I'm really not a fan :( It seems to turn orange throughout the day on your face and i find in really difficult to blend.

Gosh Darling: Again, not a bad product, but not as good as some people make out. I was expecting the most amazing nude lipstick and instead i got a nice nude lipstick.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer: I just feel like this does nothing. It claims to create the perfect base for your foundation/concealers but to me its just an extra layer on my face. However it cost me like over £20 so i still use it just so it doesn't go to waste

Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Liners: I don't think these are any better than my Avon Arabian Glow cream liners (which are my all time favourites and Avon have just come out with 4 new colours :D)

I've been re-watching loads of Laura's (Lollipop26) video's recently and noticed she did a post on her top 10 eye shadows, lipsticks, blushers and nail polishes. I thought it would be nice to do so here is the lip one :)

Mac Lipglass Florabundance - My first mac lipglass & i adore it! it's perfect over a nude lipgloss

Barry M Gloss in 4 - smells heavenly and looks fabulous

Mac Angel Lipstick - Such a pretty, easy to wear, classic pink

Mac Nude Rose Lipstick - easily my favourite of all time. but it's LE :( and i only picked up one :(

Mac Myth Lipstick - Lovely classic nude, but i have to apply a gloss with it

Mac Hue Lipstick - an easy everyday lipstick

Natural Collection Candy Mist - beautiful colour with a beautiful simmer

Gosh Darling - Easy to wear and inexpensive

Rimmel Volume Booster Clear - Just like lip balm, but better because it isn't messy

Mac TLC in Feelin' Good - expensive, but lovely and smells delicious. shame it's LE too :(

I've tried to mix in both cheap and expensive brands so their should be something to suit everyone :)

February Favourites

I'm soo proud of myself for remembering to do this post :) I always forget to do monthly favourites :)

Avon Liquid Freeze Spray - How did i ever live without a quick drying spray?? I love this soo much and it makes painting my nails soo much quicker and easier :)

Nars Orgasm Blush - I feel like i've used this a lot this month, and now i have an angled brush i find it much easier to apply :)

China Glaze in Camisole - So i only get this about 2 or 3 days ago but i love it already. The consistency is fabulous and the colour is going to be perfect for school :)

Gosh Darling Lipstick - I find this much easier to apply that MAC's Myth lipstick and it's nice to wear in the daytime

Rimmel Clear Lipstick - I think i'm on my third tube of this now. I love it. It's perfect for when i don't want to use carmex and get lip balm all over my fingers

YSL EverLong Mascara - I recently did a review on this but it is currently scheduled so keep an eye out for it :)

Avon Angled Blush Brush - Used it every day since i got it and i think it makes applying any cheek product a billion times easier :)

Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect Foundation - It's lovely and light and feels fresh and i love the smell of it. I also have a review scheduled for this

Cost: i think it was £6.00

My Thoughts: This lipstick has been given A LOT if hype on the internet so i was always a little sceptical to buy it in case it didn't live up to my expectations. This i kind of like what i wanted Mac's Myth to be, a lovely nude colour that is really soft to apply and doesn't require a gloss or balm to make is nice and shiney :) However, i don't know of i would class it as my HG nude lipstick. It doesn't last all that long (but i think that might just be my lips not the lipsticks fault) and when its gone, it can leave my lips slightly dry :(

Facial Attraction is a shop in Skegness that stocks discontinued make-up or make-up that is currently on ale in places like superdrug but for a much cheaper price :) There is a lot of rubbish stuff in there, but if you have a good look around you can find some good stuff. The brushes i got today are soo soft and look a lot nicer that other brushes that sell for £1.49! The handle is wooden which i think is really nice.
