March, April & May Favourites

So, it has been a while since I did a favourites post so this is a collection of the past three months worth of products. Enjoy :)

Illamasqua Eyeshadow in Jules My only matte eyeshadow that works great in the crease

DiorShow Mascara Slightly strange smell but really helps to open the eyes and add length to lashes

Revlon ColourStay Foundation Great coverage and a lovely dewy finish, but be careful it can look a little greasy

Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Foundation Probably my all time favourite!

Barry M Nail Paint in White Goes amazingly with a tan

Illamasqua Eyeshadow in Tango Reminds me a lot of a classic Olsen eye when it is smoked out

Calvin Klein Highlighter Pen Really brightens the eye area

Stila Kajal Eye Liner in Topaz at first I didn't like it but on the waterline I think it really makes a difference

Neal's Yard Remedies Eye Liner in Black Smokes out beautifully, and I think it was a freebie in a magazine

Mac Studio Finish Concealer This will forever be in my favourites, the coverage is flawless

Soap & Glory Hand Food Perfect after work when my hands feel really dry

Clearasil Ultra Overnight Lotion I think this really has helped to clear up my skin recently

Superdrug Vitamin E Illuminating Moisture Cream Amazing tapped along the cheekbones

Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Daily Scrub Seriously cannot rave about this enough. I have really dry skin but this removes it all and makes my face feel and look super smooth

Maybelline Dream Sun Glow Instant Bronzing Perfect for an instant tan that you only want for one night

Soap & Glory Righteous Butter Always a favourite!

Birthday Haul - Make-Up

October Favourites

It's that time again :) Sorry this is a few days late but with the days getting darker much faster now it means I cant take good pictures after school so all picture taking has to be done at the weekends. This could mean a lack of posts in the future :( But anyways, this is what I have been loving this month:

The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain in 01 I never really used this a lot but now that it is winter it just adds a really nice red flush to either your cheeks or lips. I wore it on bonfire night and loved it :)

Revlon ColorStay for Normal/Dry Skin in 110 Ivory I have wanted to buy this for moths but never did for some reason. Then it went on sale in Superdrug for £9.99 and I had some birthday money so I figured why not. I am so glad I did :) It covers nicely, I love the smell and it comes in an amazing colour range.

Mac Studio Finish Concealer in NW15 Easily the best concealer I own for covering imperfections.

Boots No7 Eyeshadow in 60 Mink I bought this because I had one of those £5 off no7 vouchers so it only cost me £2.50 and it is so much better than I thought it would be. I don't know if I would pay £7.50 for another one though, I'll just wait until I have another voucher :P

W7 Blush Brush If you don't like the idea of paying loads for make-up brushes then I recommend W7 100%. They have a great range and they are sooo inexpensive! This brush is really good for applying powder and only cost £3!

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara in Black A birthday present from my friend which I love! I always ignore the Rimmel counter for some reason but I think I might have to look further into their other mascaras because this one is really good!

The Wonders That Are ... Blog Sales

You must have seen them, and i'm sure a lot of you have even bought from them. They are a great way to grab a beauty bargain and help people to reduce their collection. Yes ... I'm talking about Blog Sales! Over the past year i have bought and sold quite a few things on blog sales :) I just love them!

I think blog sales are best for people who are just getting into high end make-up and want to try some products out without paying full price, people who can't get certain products where they live or people who just love a good bargain :)

I know a few of you have been waiting for this haul as it contains the make-up i picked up in London. As i previously mentioned, i did only get 3 things whilst i was there but i love them all a lot :)

As you can probably tell, I've not been buying a lot of make-up recently. I think because the weather i changing I'm slightly more drawn to summer clothes and I've started driving recently so a lot of money is going towards petrol :(

Revlon Gel Blush - For sale

This product has been sitting in my draw for about 4 months now just not being used. I think it is time for it to go to a good home. I've only used it about 5-6 times but as i tend to do my make-up on the bus to school (so i get more sleep :P) i prefer to use a powder. It comes out as a really pretty deep pink colour to create the perfect rosey cheek. This is what Revlon say about it:

Review: Revlon Pinch Me Gel Blush in 310

This is basically just a quick review on the Revlon Gel Blush which i bought the other week afteran exam because i felt like i deserved it :)

This is the first gel blush i'v ever used so the first time i applied it it looked awful. i kind of looked like this kid:

yer basically not a good look!! But then i tried again later that day using alot less product and it didn't look too bad :) it makes a reall nice primer to put a powder blush over. All in all i dont think i would re-purchase it but would recomend it to anyone who has dry skin and finds powder blushes don't really work for them.

Anyway, im off to Lifeboat training now so leave me lovely comments for when i get back please :)
