You may have noticed that I like picking up editions of Vogue and other magazines from different countries that I have visited, does anyone else do this?

A New Edition ...

This is some very exciting new ... for me at least

My friend Sophie very generously let me have her old Elle magazines and a few random Vogues, Dazed's and Pop's. If you have read this blog for quite a while you will know I adore magazines and have a little addiction to collecting them. This is why I am so excited to now having these. I am planning to do another Magazine collection post soon so anyone that is interested can see the cover pictures then :)

A Quick Study Leave Haul

After three days of revision i decided to spend the day with my grandparents and go shopping.

I picked up:

• Barry M Nail Polish in Berry Ice Cream
• Barry M Dazzle Dust in Winter Berry (88)
• Barry M Glitter Liquid Eyeliner in Red (05)
• Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Ambre Rose (112)
• W7 Perfect Eyes eyeshadow in Burnt Plum

Ok seriously, W7 have been really impressing me recently. first there was the nail polishes, then the box blushes and now these super metallic eyeshadows. The pigmentation is AMAZING! it is bigger than a Mac shadow and was only £1.49! I need to go back sometime during the next week and get some more colours because they had some really pretty silvers and golds!

I've been wanting to try the Winter Berry Dazzle Dust for ages but nowhere has had it. But i found it today and it is super pretty!

I feel like everyone already has this lipstick, but i decided to pick it up today after wanting it for a while. It's such as pretty colour :)

And finally, this red glitter liner which i saw Lollipop26 wearing in a blog post quite a while ago. Cant wait to try it out

What have you been buying recently?

Spain Haul

If you follow me on twitter you may know that my mum has just spent the last week in Spain with my grandparents and my aunty. I wasn't expecting any presents, so i was VERY pleasantly surprised to receive all of this:

First was two issues of Nylon, because she went on holiday with my aunty who's husband gets Nylon for me because he works at a newsagents :)

Whenever i go to a foreign country i always try to pick up some fashion magazines while i'm there. o when my mum was in Spain she get me Spanish Glamour, Elle & Vogue :) These will all be included in my next "The Month In Covers" post!

You may not know this, but Zara is a Spanish brand, so obviously the selection of clothes is so much bigger in Spain and the prices are considerably cheaper :) Firstly my mum got me this really cute loose t-shirt with a little zip pocket:)

I then got a little kind of dusty pink vest

and a little grey cropped vest
which she bought because they were worn together on a model instore and she thought it looked really nice


and then a new bag which i am currently using for school which i love :)

And then these were actually the only things i had asked for. They are my favourite lip balms and the only place i know where to get them is in the spanish airport she flew back from :) I wasn't expecting to get four so this was a very nice surprise! From left to right we have orange, peach, strawberry and vanilla. I think the orange one is my favourite :)

International Swap goodies from Emily :)

Me and Emily organised an international swap just before Christmas. Originally it was just for a magazine, but then we both decided we would throw in a few make-up bits too :) Emily got her parcel on Feb 1st but mine only came today ... i think it was being help up in customs :(

I'm sure i will get round to doing a more in depth post on everything individually but i just want to say a HUGE thank you to Emily for this swap! I really enjoyed doing it and totally hope we can do another soon :)

These are some other presents that aren't really make-up or beauty related, but one of them might just be my favourite present of all.

The 1992 Vogue is the one that came out the month i was born :) I thought this was soo thoughtful and it is sooo different from the modern issues i buy now. I love it :)

Brief Christmas Present Haul

This is basically just a quick picture of the majority of things i got this morning :)

I'll go into more detail about everything separately throughout the next week or so but i thought i would just show you a quick picture of the things to expect. I also got a new TV and a sewing machine but i couldn't be bothered to get them out of their boxes to put them in this picture :)

Holiday Purchases

So while i was away i obviously had to do a little duty free shopping :) i didn't get alot because it's Christmas soon and i still haven't bought any presents for anyone yet :S But yeah this is what i got:

The Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer for £21.50

I got this on the plane home so i haven't really tried it out properly but i put a little on my hand and it felt soooo soft! I'll do a full proper review when i've used it properly

Mac Studio Finish Concealer in NW15 for £10.20

OMG! the mac counter at Manchester airport was heaven! we got there at about 6am so there were no staff at the counter which basically meant i could just play with everything without feeling like i have to buy something or being pushed around by loads of other ladies! LOVED IT! however i only came away with the concealer because of the whole Christmas present thing again.

I actually bought this before i left but i read it while i was there and if you liked this film, read this because it is completely different towards the end! I might also do a little review of this at some point if anyone wants to know about it.

This was abit of a random purchase. I couldn't find a Moroccan Vogue so i'm thinking maybe they don't have one :S im not sure. But i did find this December issue of German Vogue which seriously has some of the best editorials i've seen in ages!

Magazine Collection

Some of you may know that i love fashion magazines and over the past year or two i have collected quite a few :)
