L'Occitane Fleur Cherie Hand Cream Such a life saver in the cold weather!

Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express Mascara I've pretty much used all of this up and I am so totally going to buy another one

Lip Smacker in Coca Cola This smells amazing :) haha

Sleek Ink Pot Gel Liner Still love this more than any other liner and I used it on my friend and she loves it so much now too :)

Topshop Blush in Neon Rose I thought I had lost this :( but then I found it and I remembered how amazing it is :)

August Favourites

I'm sorry this is late but I started year 13 a few days ago and I'm just kind of getting back into school

Gosh Holographic Nail Polish My absolute new favourite :) I love it, and I get asked about it whenever I wear it. I really want to try and get more Gosh polishes, they are so lovely!

Rimmel Matte Finish Nail Polish This is so perfect for school. I'm not allowed to wear nail polish to school but by wearing a nude polish and then the matte top coat over the top makes it look really natural but still nice.

Mac Lipstick in Angel Angel is about as adventurous and bright as I go with lipstick. I've really liked wearing this over August just to brighten up my day.

Barry M Lipgloss in Coral Nowhere near as pigmented as some other Barry M glosses I have tried, but it smells lovely and is just really easy to wear either alone or over any lipstick.

Sleek Ink Pot in Dominatrix Why did I wait so long to try gel liners? I love this and can't wait to try out some other colours and brands! I never really bothered with eye liner because I found it too difficult to apply but this is so easy with an angled eyeliner brush.

Topshop Blush in Flush This is without a doubt, the best blush I own because the colour just suits my skin tone perfectly. There really isn't much more I can say about it.

Benefit You Rebel Tinted Moisturiser I've used this tinted moisturiser so much this summer and am really interested to look into some other brands ready for next summer.

CoverGirl Last Blast Waterproof I need some more of this soon, it's just perfect :)

Boots 17 Eyeshadow in Mardi Gras This is great to wear along the lower lash line and then to line the top with just a flick of mascara. Really effortless but brightening.

Max Factor Eyeshadow in Burnt Bark Please, please, please, please just promise me next time you are at a Max Factor counter you will at least swatch this shadow. It is without a doubt my most used eyeshadow! I love everything about it.

Lincoln Haul

Me and the lovely Sophie (who is making a new blog to which I will link you too soon because she is AMAZING) went shopping on Thursday to Lincoln. I was so ridiculously excited! But the shops were such a fail and I only came home with one item of clothing :(

I got this jacket in Topshop in the sale for £25. I am sooo happy! I wanted one from River Island which was £50 but i'm glad I didn't buy it now!

These are a little controversial in my house. My dad likes them, my mum thinks they are ok and my sister hates that. I love them. They were £15 from Primark :)

Is it jut me or are a pair of white pumps always included in my haul posts haha -£2 from Primark

So you know how I love magazines ...

And then I bought Romeo and Juliet because I never read it as school :(

Tag - Don't believe the hype!

It seems like loads of people are doing this post so i thought i would give it a go :) As always, this is just my opinion and these products may work amazingly for you!

Sleek Palette in Sunset: Everyone raved at how amazing these palettes were so i think my expectations were maybe a little too high. With the lighter colours i think pigmentation is a little disappointing and all the colour seem to have lots of shimmery fallout :( This being said, i do still use this and would probably consider buying another, i just don't think they are as good as a lot of people make out.

Nars Orgasm: This is another disappointing product, but not necessarily a bad one. Just about everyone seems to own it and love it and i will admit it is a pretty blush. Bot does it deserve all the magazines calling it the no.1 blush?? no.

Benefit You Rebel Lite: I think for a lot of people they see this Tinted Moisturiser as the best on the market but I'm really not a fan :( It seems to turn orange throughout the day on your face and i find in really difficult to blend.

Gosh Darling: Again, not a bad product, but not as good as some people make out. I was expecting the most amazing nude lipstick and instead i got a nice nude lipstick.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer: I just feel like this does nothing. It claims to create the perfect base for your foundation/concealers but to me its just an extra layer on my face. However it cost me like over £20 so i still use it just so it doesn't go to waste

Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Liners: I don't think these are any better than my Avon Arabian Glow cream liners (which are my all time favourites and Avon have just come out with 4 new colours :D)

My Top 10 Cheek Products

I've been re-watching loads of Laura's (Lollipop26) video's recently and noticed she did a post on her top 10 eye shadows, lipsticks, blushers and nail polishes. I thought it would be nice to do so here is the cheek one :)

Mac Well Dressed - possible all time favourite. I cant really fault it

Mac Pink Swoon - looks scary in the pan, very easy to work with though

Mac MSF Soft & Gentle - very simple and easy to apply

Mac Bronzer in Golden - comes with me everywhere. lasts ages

Boots 17 Bramble Frost - great for a sheen rather than intense colour

Boots 17 Damson Wine - quite deep compared to my other blush's. very pretty :)

Nars Orgasm - a classic, everyday blush that works for most people

Sleek Pixie Pink - VERY bright, so needs a very light hand

Boots 17 Light Bronzer - I hit pan :) which proves i love it!

Avon Illuminating make-up base - I use this as a cheek highlighter and i love it, especially in the summer

I've tried to mix in both cheap and expensive brands so their should be something to suit everyone :)

Review: Sleek Sunset Eye Shadow Palette

My Thoughts: I always thought that i would never buy any of the sleek palettes because i always forget about using palettes and just use my single eye shadows. However, when i saw the the Sleek counter at Lincoln, i just couldn't resist :) The pigmentation of the shadows is incredible for the price and the range of colours and finishes they offer throughout all of their palettes is extremely impressive for a high street make-up brand. I do think however that with some of the lighter shades, you have to apply a lot to get to see the colour more then the shimmer or apply them wet.

Smokey Eye using "Spirit"

I was left a comment on my review for the eye shadow Spirit asking "How would you wear it?" so i decided to show you all a look using it. I hope you like it :D

Start by priming your eye - i used UDPP - obviously blend it, i just used this picture to show you it was there

Apply a shimmery white to the inner 1/3 of your eye lid. I used SMH shadow in Divine wet with Fix+

Then add a glittery silver to the next 1/3 - i obviously used Spirit

Then add black to the outer 1/3 of your lid - i used the black in the Sleek sunset palette

Blend the white & silver together, and then the silver & black together

add some black eyeliner to the lower lash line and smudge it out

apply some mascara and taa daa :) you have yourself a Smokey Eye :)

Lincoln Haul (I found Sleek!!)

I went to Lincoln today because i am part of a Young Enterprise team at my school and we took part in a trade show for the day. In my lunch break i decided shopping was more important than eating and picked up these things from Superdrug & Boots. I also got a jacket from Primark that i'm taking back because it doesn't looks nice on. and it was £17 which i thought was a lot for a Primark jacket!

Boots 17 Blusher in Bramble Frost. It remind me of Mac Well Dressed, but this is a little creamier in colour
