Christmas Presents - Clothes

I figured it was easier to split my presents up into groups and it also means I can span these posts out over a week or so because recently I haven't had much inspiration for blogging

Jack Wills Leggings

so perfect to just sit around the house in which is pretty much all I have done this Christmas :)

Cheap Monday Skull T-Shirt

This is sooo soft and now I really want the black one too :)

Just the tags :)

Nike Sweatpants

I think I am going to take these back because I just wanted them to drive in and sit around the house in but although they fit and they are my size I just think they look far too big on the legs and they are a little too long

Slippers

Because everyone loves slippers at Christmas :)

Christmas Present Preview

I know there are a few people who do not like Christmas present posts as they think it is all about showing off but I really wanted to show what I got and Victoria from LilyLovesLola told me to blog about whatever I want to blog about so here is just quick picture preview of some of the things I received for Christmas. I will do a few more posts over the next week or so showing close up pictures and things :)

NOTD - Barry M Nail Paint in Dusky Mauve

I've been buying loads of nail polishes but not really showing any of them so I thought it was time to start doing some regular NOTD posts. The first is Barry M's Dusky Mauve.

Charlotte over at Lipglossing did an amazing comparison post of this nail polish with the Chanel Paradoxal. Check that out here

It is such a beautiful colour when it catches the light but when you can't see the purple shimmer, it still makes a really nice winter-y colour. The picture is of two coats which is normal for most Barry M polishes to get a good opaque colour.

October Favourites

It's that time again :) Sorry this is a few days late but with the days getting darker much faster now it means I cant take good pictures after school so all picture taking has to be done at the weekends. This could mean a lack of posts in the future :( But anyways, this is what I have been loving this month:

The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain in 01 I never really used this a lot but now that it is winter it just adds a really nice red flush to either your cheeks or lips. I wore it on bonfire night and loved it :)

Revlon ColorStay for Normal/Dry Skin in 110 Ivory I have wanted to buy this for moths but never did for some reason. Then it went on sale in Superdrug for £9.99 and I had some birthday money so I figured why not. I am so glad I did :) It covers nicely, I love the smell and it comes in an amazing colour range.

Mac Studio Finish Concealer in NW15 Easily the best concealer I own for covering imperfections.

Boots No7 Eyeshadow in 60 Mink I bought this because I had one of those £5 off no7 vouchers so it only cost me £2.50 and it is so much better than I thought it would be. I don't know if I would pay £7.50 for another one though, I'll just wait until I have another voucher :P

W7 Blush Brush If you don't like the idea of paying loads for make-up brushes then I recommend W7 100%. They have a great range and they are sooo inexpensive! This brush is really good for applying powder and only cost £3!

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara in Black A birthday present from my friend which I love! I always ignore the Rimmel counter for some reason but I think I might have to look further into their other mascaras because this one is really good!

Some Pictures From My Birthday

Some of you may have been aware that Sunday the 24th was my birthday, so I thought I would show a few pictures from the day of what I got up to ...

I woke up, put on a jumper and opened cards and presents from some people

We then set off for a two hour drive to Doncaster to meet with family for a meal

We arrived at my cousins house, got ready, and headed to the restaurant

I sat next to my nan :)

After dinner they brought out my Birthday cake

And then we had a big family photo :)

Now I posted a picture on Twitter of some blogpost ideas that I had but I would love a little bit of input before I start taking pictures and typing anything up. My Ideas were:
  • Birthday Dinner FOTD
  • My Birthday Presents
  • Halloween Costume
  • Things I bought with my Birthday money
  • Halloween FOTN
  • Presents from my Sisters holiday
I just want to hear how everyone feels about my posting my presents on my blog. I know there were some people at Christmas who didn't like it when others showed what they recieved but I actually really liked seeing what everyone got. If there isn't an interest then I don't mind ... Just let me know :) I will also be doing:
  • Rimmel Primer Review
  • InStyle Magazine Collection
  • Lots of NOTD posts

A New Obsession

Since about August, I have been really into wearing wedges. I just can't seem to go shopping without buying anew pair :) I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I simply cannot walk in heels :( These are the ones I have bought over the past few months:

Lace Up Peep Toe Wedges - Primark - £15.00
These are more of a day time wedge that look really nice with leggings or skinny jeans

Strappy Black Wedges - River Island - £30.00 in the sale
OMG! I love these so much. I've loved them since I first saw them, but I didn't want to pay £55 for a pair of shoes that I knew I wouldn't wear, so when they were in the sale I jumped at the chance to get them, especially since I am 18 tomorrow so I will be going out more. However, they are so ridiculously painful and seem to make me walk funny so I am sending them back :( If I had £30 to waste, I would keep them just to look at!

Platform Strappy Wedges - New Look - £25
These are so comfortable and I wore them to my friends birthday the other day and plan to wear them again for my birthday :) If you see these in New Look and you like them just try them on, they are really easy to walk in and are really comfy :)

Beige Buckle Up Wedges - Primark - £15
I think I have probably worm these the most as they kind of just feel like you are wearing flats and add a really nice edge to an outfit. Also, they are far cheaper than the ASOS ones I wanted for ages.

Beige Peep Toe Wedges - New Look - £25
WHY DID I TAKE THESE BACK? Seriously?!?! When I bought the black new look wedges I took these back. But ever since I did, I wish I hadn't but haven't had chance to go back to New Look to re-purchase them :( I hope they still have them new time I go shopping! They are also really comfortable, but add a more sleek look to an outfit rather than an edge one.

Do you have a favourite pair of wedges?
