My Top 10 Cheek Products

I've been re-watching loads of Laura's (Lollipop26) video's recently and noticed she did a post on her top 10 eye shadows, lipsticks, blushers and nail polishes. I thought it would be nice to do so here is the cheek one :)

The Top 10
The Close Up's
Mac Well Dressed - possible all time favourite. I cant really fault it
Mac Pink Swoon - looks scary in the pan, very easy to work with though

Mac MSF Soft & Gentle - very simple and easy to apply
Mac Bronzer in Golden - comes with me everywhere. lasts ages

Boots 17 Bramble Frost - great for a sheen rather than intense colour
Boots 17 Damson Wine - quite deep compared to my other blush's. very pretty :)

Nars Orgasm - a classic, everyday blush that works for most people
Sleek Pixie Pink - VERY bright, so needs a very light hand

Boots 17 Light Bronzer - I hit pan :) which proves i love it!
Avon Illuminating make-up base - I use this as a cheek highlighter and i love it, especially in the summer

I've tried to mix in both cheap and expensive brands so their should be something to suit everyone :)

The Month In Covers - April

This month, as you can see by the picture, was slightly disappointing on the magazine front. The shop i usually get my American Elle and Teen Vogue from didn't have it stocked so i think im going to have to be searching eBay for those and i dont have my nylon yet because my uncle gets it for me and i haven't seen him yet.

InStyle
I quite like the orange for this time of year and the dress that Anna Friel is wearing is really pretty. Overall it's not a disaster but its not perfect.

Glamour
I could stare at this dress for ages. It's jut so pretty :) and i quite like Amanda Seyfried's eyes :)It's very pretty! Oh and glamour came with a free gift this month!! :D

Elle
LOVE IT! There really isn't much more to say, it's just original and current and i love it :)

Vanity Fair
Boring :( I really dont care for it at all. Some of the stories inside however were very good :)

Vogue
Kate Moss gets put on the cover of British Vogue way too much! Like seriously, i don't even think shes that special anymore.

Harper's Bazaar
I really like this :) Megan Fox is BEAUTIFUL!

Marie Claire
You cant really see too much of the detail of this dress on this picture but it is amazing and i love it! I think the picture in general is really pretty and Diane's make-up looks really good :) This magazine also came with a free gift :)

The Free Gifts!
Glamour - James Brown Scandalous Moisturising Shampoo (you could also get a conditioner and a conditioning treatment i think)
Marie Claire - Neal's Yard Power Berry Daily Moisture

Review: China Glaze polish in Ravishing, Dahling

China Glaze Nail Polish
in Ravishing, Dahling

Cost: I think Emily got them for about $5-6

My Thoughts: I think China Glaze might just be my new favourite nail polish brand :) seriously i love everything about them. I just hate that they are so difficult to get over here :( The colour is a beautiful classic bright red. The picture above shows two coats. It dries quickly, is lovely to apply and simple to remove when needed :)

Where you can buy:
i got this in an international swap because China Glaze is difficult to get in the UK

Would i re-purchase: yes :) i cant wait to try out more of the colours!

Overall score: 9/10

Review: YSL Everlong Mascara Waterproof

YSL EverLong Mascara Waterproof
in 1W

Cost: £21

My Thoughts: I've always believed that mascara is the one products that you really don't have to spend a lot of money on. My favourite brand for mascara is Maybelline because they are always coming out with something new. However i bought this just to try it out, and i am very impressed! I absolutely love the wand and the formula itself. It is my longest lasting mascara (but i think that is because it is waterproof) and the black is really intense which i like :) I think this product has opened my eyes to the YSL brand and i cant wait to try out some more things, especially the Pure Lipsticks, Rouge Volupte's and the new Teint Resist Foundation :) Something to remember is that is it a lengthening mascara so if you are looking for Voluptuous lashes, this may not be the product for you.

Where you can buy:
Boots
Debenhams
House of Fraser

Would i re-purchase: Maybe. I do love it, but it an expensive product to have to re-purchase every 4-6 months

Overall Score: 8/10

Other Pictures

The Wand
Bare Lashes
1 coat of mascara
2 coats of mascara
The Waterproof Test

Before the shower
After the Shower
It began to run a little along the bottom, but it was quite messy to begin with. Overall i am impressed because i dont have black streaming down my face :)
