Things I'm Loving From ... Miss Selfridge

I really liked doing the Topshop version of this post a few days ago so I figured I would make it a new thing I could do on my blog every now and again with clothes & accessories from loads of different brands. This is the Miss Selfridge one ... enjoy :)

NOTD - Barry M Nail Paint in Strawberry Ice Cream

I've bought quite a few new nail polishes recently so decided to do a few NOTD posts. This is one of my favourites from the ones I bought:

If i remember correctly, this is two coats. It has quite a jelly like finish to it which makes it a little sheer. It is very similar to Barry M's Baby Pink which is one of my favourites of all time :)

Things I'm Loving From ... Topshop

Me and my sister have decided to save up and go clothes shopping in a few weeks. This has of course led me to a little online browse to see what is currently on offer so when we do go shopping I have a vague idea of the kind of things I want to pick up. This is currently what is taking my fancy from the Topshop Website.

let me know what you like! And if you have done any recently Topshop hauls, leave me a link so i can have a look :)

LoveFilm Movie Review - The Ugly Truth

The Ugly Truth

What I Thought: Not a ground breaking RomCom, but something really fun and easy to watch at a weekend. I really like Katherine Heigl as an actress and i thought she was really funny in this. Her performance kind of reminded me of when she was in Knocked Up, which is one of my all time favourite films.

Stand Out Character: Abby Richter who was played by Katherine Heigl

Favourite Scene: The restaurant scene :)

Star Rating: *******

Would I Watch Again: Yes

Have you seen this film? What did you think of it?

NOTD - Avon Nailwear Pro in Vintage Blue

Last time my mum put an Avon order through I picked up this beautiful pastel blue nail polish called Vintage Blue:

It's the palest blue I own and looks great with a really summery outfit. I am generally a big fan of Avon Nailwear Pro polishes and there are a couple more shades that have recently been released for summer that I would love to pick up. Thee pictures show 2 coats to create a really nice opaque finish.

Have you tried these polishes? What do you think of them?

LoveFilm Movie Review - Dance Flick

Dance Flick

What I thought: Shit. Seriously, just pure crap! I didn't even finish watching it. I didn't think it was funny at all. The focus seemed to be too much on making fun out of other films rather than creating a story, so it didn't really work

Stand out Character: There wasn't one

Favourite Scene: Are you kidding me?

Star Rating: **

Would I watch again: No

Have you seen this film? What did you think of it?

My Favourites from MTV Movie Awards 2010

I always like to have a quick look through the dresses that appear on some of the red carpet event, but this years MTV Movie Awards only lead to four that I liked!

Eva Mendes
great colours for her skin tone, great shape for her body and really cute accessories. It looks good, without looking too over done. I like it :)

Anna Kendrick
Such an amazing print, and i think the fact that it is short in length makes it appropriate for the event. This would also look good full length for a more formal evening.

Lo Bosworth
Arguably a little too fancy for MTV, but still a great colour and a great shape. The draping is stunning and i think it really suits her

Samantha Harris
I love the colour against her dark hair but because she is slightly older, maybe a slightly longer length or a dress with straps would have been more appropriate

Share The Love

There are so many great bloggers and youtubers out there and i think everyone has their favourites. I currently follow 120 different blogs and am subscribed to 61 different youtubers, and these are some of my favourites :)

I think Nikki is so talented with make-up and her personality really comes across well in her video's. I really trust her reviews on products which i think is really important for youtubers!

Rene is the kind of person that you just kind of know, she is truly saying what she feels and not trying to sugar coat anything. If something is bad, she will tell you, and if it's good, she will tell you that too. And I love the fact that she is Australian, because i love the Australian accent :)

I've only recently discovered Laura's YouTube channel but I really like her video's. She is also roughly the same age as me i think so i feel as though i can relate to a lot of what she is saying.

Have you seen this girls intro to her video's? seriously, i usually hate intros and just fast forward through them, but Fleur's is so good :) And then of course there is the general content of the video's which i think is a really fun, fresh take on a lot of products and opinions.

Phhoebee
i'm quite a recent follower to phoebe's blog, but i just love the whole lay out and style of her blog. It's all very pretty and very chic and i love it :)

a-littleobsessed
I have been a followers of Sabrina's for over a year now, and i think i do see her as a friend rather than just a blogger. I know if i have a questions, i can ask her it on Twitter and receive a very helpful reply. I also really like that her products aren't all high end and she has a great variety to review.

patukiii
Such a lovely girl with great style and a great blog. There are a really cool mix of products that she uses

laurakristinexo
Iam also a recent follower to Laura's blog but i love it so much :) She has a great sense of style and buys sme great products that i always wish i could get hold of over here in the UK!

littlemusicboxes
A great nail blog. seriously, how do people get their nail polish to apply so perfectly. I'm truly jealous!

chrysanthemum
I've always loved really good nail polish blogs, and thisis deffinatly one of them :) There is a nice mix of brands and lots of things to see and add to your wishlists :)

fayecavania
cute blog, by a cute girl, who talks about really cute things :) also a great person to add onTwitter, she is lovely!

LoveFilm Movie Review - Terminator Salvation

Terminator Salvation

What I Thought: I grew up watching the terminator films, when they were probably inapproprate for me, i just loved watching them. So obviously, this film had a lot to live up to. I thought Terminator 3 was such an epic fail! This one was kind of better, but you will never be able to beat the originals.

Stand Out Character: Anton Yelchin who played Kyle Reese

Favourite Scene: I didn't really have one

Star Rating: ****

Would I Watch Again: Maybe, but i'm in no rush to

Have you seen this film? What did you think of it?

BYS - Lila Bliss

You may have seen that I picked up this nail polish sometime last week when I went to Lincoln. It was a right bargain at (I think) £1.69 for 14ml :)

The colour looks to me like a mix of pink, lilac and maybe a spot of grey. It's really pretty and is so much more that just a regular pink polish. I don't know if I will pick up more from this brand because none of the other colours really stood out to me, but I will be keeping an eye out for different colours next time I go.

The Big Tesco Vitamin E Review!

So after weeks of testing i think I am finally ready to give my verdict on these super cheap Tescoproducts. Keep in mind that every one's skin is different so something that might not have worked for me maybe perfect for you :) I'm not going to go into massive depth, simply because idon't want to bore you all, but if you have an specific questions feel free to ask.

The Face Wash

Nothing really stood out to me about this product. It lathers up well and a little goes a long way, it removes make-up and makes your face feel clean, but it just doesn't have anything special about it.

The Facial Scrub

Probably my favourite. The scrubbing beads aren't very big so you don't really get that deep clean feeling, but it's great if you want to be able to use a scrub everyday and not feel like you're damaging your skin.

The Eye Make-up Remover

Nothing special. I think i prefer my Boots eye make-up remover gel because it has a really nice cooling effect, but this works just as well at actually removing product.

The Cleanser

If you are going to a festival this summer, i think this product would be great. It's like having a face wash but without having to mix it with water. I would recommend cleansing with this, then wiping a wet wipe over your face just so you get that damp clean feeling.

The Moisturiser

If your skin is in need of major moisture then this just isn't going to cut it, but if you just want something light and easy to use before your make-up, i think this is a great inexpensive choice.

The Toner

I didn't really notice this making any difference to my skin so i don't think it is something i would suggest picking up from the brand. It left my skin feeling quite dry, but it wasn't strong enough to make my eyes water which was nice.

The Cleansing Wipes

I love these :) They are soo inexpensive and i think they work really well for the price. Great just to have in your bag throughout the summer to keep your feeling fresh and clean in the heat. I tend to use them to wipe make-up off, and then use the Facial Scrub to clean a little deeper.

The Night Cream

Wasn't really what i was expecting. It is very thin compared to other night creams that i have tried, and i just don't think it really did anything for my skin.

Have you tried anything from this range? What did you think?
